The paper underlines the importance of using the correct terminology in the area of cultural heritage, with reference to official documents dealing with different aspects of restoration, conservation, maintenance, prevention and safeguard aimed at protecting and enhancing the value of interesting artefacts from a historic-artistic, archeological, archive-library, musical viewpoint. On the other hand, mention is made of the fact that, within the difficult relation between Arts and Science, these are actually two different ways of "describing the world".Downloads
