Abstract

Intertextual reading of the cantos I-IV of Dante’s Inferno, made in the light of the Aristotelian concepts of magnanimity and pusillanimity, and that the poet and person of Dante cleverly declines and dramatizes, finally leading up to his self-exaltation as a magnanimous among the magnanimous.
